JB making his presence known

JB is going on 11 months. This weekend Nathan had a bunch of training that basically kept him occupied till 8:30 or 9:00 pm. So, JB and I had a fun filled weekend together. He's beginning to talk to you a little more, roll around more, and smile more. He also has two new top teeth coming in. We went to Andy and Diana's to see baby Enoch with Amber and Shui and then went to the Smiths for an Aussie party. On Saturday JB talked to me as I sowed some squares together for our quilting group and then he tried out one of our new wraps for the baby and passed out while we went to a super busy Carrefour with Lauren, Amber, and Rachael. Man, the Chinese people just stopped, stared, and bombarded us with the little ones in these odd wraps. It was super overwhelming on a busy day. We then headed home and Lauren came over to watch "New In Town". JB starting rolling around on his blanket and then would get really frustrated when he'd land on his face and couldn't figure out how he got there. He's so funny. When Nathan did get home JB spent some time with him and did roll from his tummy to his back, which is very hard fro him. He normally face plants and then verbalizes how upset he is until someone helps. He keeps me laughing and smiling. By the way, I will also put a plug for these amazing wraps. A friend had one made her and she told me about it. I went to the fabric market, bought 7 meters of material, had a tailor hem it up, and now I strap JB in, can be hands free and he is out in moments. It's beautiful! JB and I also had some amazing lap time this weekend where he would just sit on my lap and stare at me for like 20 minutes at a time. There are pictures above to show this.

So fun, Emily! I know you have probably explained this, but are you guys hoping to adopt JB or is it just a foster situation? Does he live with you?

We are just fostering JB. We have no intentions of adoption since Nathan and I would both have to be over 30 to begin the process. We just wanted to get a little one to love on as much as we could. JB stays with us almost every weekend and lives with another foreign family here during the week. I think they may be considering adopting him but they are not sure.
