Exhaustion

So we are back in the groove of things and have just finished a week of school.  It is Friday and I am super excited....well, as excited as an exhausted, previously stressed, pregnant woman could be :-)  Coming back to school was more tiring than I expected.  Today was a super long day with grade due (my job) and then coming home to a washing machine that never trained and caused my clothes (which we have to hang out to dry) to be extra wet leading to super long drying time.  The clothes are now draped around our guest bedroom and bathroom with towels underneath hoping they will dry out soon.  Ugh!  However, because of what happened to mom I had some great opportunities to talk with my students about how death when you pray for life doesn't mean your prayers weren't answered and the assurance for salvation.  I had a precious boy ask me in class, "Teacher, how do you know that Mr. Forrest's mom went to heaven?"  Great moment!  His next question brought us back to earth when he said, "Teacher, I think your baby is getting big!"  haha.  The next day my 1st grade girls decided to add a step to their exiting the classroom routine by putting their ears on my belly on their way out the door, insisting that they were trying to hear the baby.  I have felt only one baby motion that I am aware of and it felt like a little flutter in my lower abdomen.  This week was the first week (I know of more toe come) when I had to suck in quite a bit to get my pants to button and then for other pairs had to use a belly band.  I know people say that this is just the process and it's not too exciting but it makes me happy to look in the mirror and see my growing belly.  I know many women tell me, "Just wait till your big an miserable then you won't think it's so cute" but I wanted to be pregnant so bad and this pregnancy has been great so I want to enjoy it as much as possible.  We go this week to see if we're having a boy or girl....Gotta run because JB is squirming like he is super hungry...but he's still so CUTE!

I agree with Jim - just ignore those people. It is breath-taking every single time! Aches and pains and all. :)
