5 months

So here is my 5 month picture. We are 23 weeks today which means I am fully 5 months and starting month 6. I am expanding, as my students remind me. I have many 7 year olds and below stare at my tummy, tell me its super big, or put their ear on my tummy to see if they can hear the baby. I love being a teacher and being pregnant because my kids just want to know so much. They love each exciting step, which makes it all the more enjoyable for me.

JB is getting bigger and will be 11 months in February. He is still very slow developing but he has started to smile and laugh more which is truly a good treat. I really do enjoy this little guy.

Please think of us this week as we are exhausted. This past week we had people come do a training at our school, which involved us staying after school 2 days till 5. We had mid-quarter reports which required lots of grading (mostly for other teachers and not really me). This coming week we have ISA testing, China Week (where our students get to learn more about Chinese culture via Chinese Opera and Acrobats this year...I am super excited about this!), and our school is moving and shifting buildings to spread out. We are awarded at the end with a 2 week vacation for Chinese New Year but we have to cross the big gap to get there. Nathan is busy with this training this weekend which also stinks. It's a me and JB weekend, which is good practice for me.
