Gratitudes Part 4

#71 - An international community.  I went to graduation and heard the fathers give speeches to their children in korean and English.  I love the diversity.

#72 - Lazy susans on tables.  I love how Chinese restaurants have a lazy susan in the middle of the table and you share all the dishes.

#73 - I am fateful for the adventure of life in China.  I know that life is always an adventure but here, living in china, just feels like an adventure.  I will miss the excitement on people's faces when they find out I live in such and "exotic" place.

#74 - I am thankful for our fellowship group.  I will miss having fellowship in a bar and with other foreigners that I may not get to see on a regular basis.

#75 - I am thankful for the amazing national staff at our school.  They take care of us so that life her is possible.  They help us find apartments, pay bills, handle visas, fix things, etc.  Life here is impossible without them!

#76- I will miss the winters, not so much the coldness but the cozy feeling of needing to be inside.  I watched so many shows and read lots of books.

#77 -  I am thankful cheap x-box games.  (Nate)

#78 - I am thankful for the layout of China for stores.  We have a computer street, electronics street, restaurant street, etc.  You know exactly where to go to get what you need and when it doubt Wu Ai will probably have it.  When I want shoes, I go to the shoe building of Wu Ai.  It's great!

#79 - Public transportation and school transportation.  It is so nice to not think about how to get somewhere and just being able to sit in the back of a taxi or car and let someone else worry about the details.  I love not having responsibilities when I'm in the car!

#80 - I may have said it before but I love McDonalds delivery.  Ordering McFlurries and sundaes delivered to your door is great.
