Merry Christmas Part 2

Last night we had some friends over for a Christmas Dinner. Since we have been here the Christmas Dinner was always hosted by a good friend of ours, Christa, and with her absence we became very aware that someone needed to carry on the tradition so we decided to. We had about 11 friends over (supposed to be 13 but one pair got sick) and we had a wonderful feast together. We put two tables in the middle of our living room and had turkey, fruit salad, pasta, green beans, veggies, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, gravy, rolls, pumpkin pie, apple cider cake, and snicker doodles. After eating we moved the tables and watched the Jim Carey version of "The Grinch" - one of my favorite Christmas movies. Unfortunately I realized I should take pictures too late so didn't get any of the eating but did get some of the movie:
Then some people left but some stayed to play Rock Band.
After this everyone left and Nate and I cleaned up and headed to bed. I realized that this baking things is definitely in my blood, thanks dad. I loved having people over and was even able to use my new serving dish that I got from my secret Santa:
Thanks, Liz!

Oh and it's a little late but here is a pic of the sticky buns we made on Christmas Eve:
