House Update #4

Today has been a very eventful day. I have one kid home sick (fever is gone today but she had to stay home since she had a fever yesterday), one kid who went to school to "apply" for a Mentor PK4 position at school and then there's August :-) I took full advantage of my day at home (since I normally volunteer at the school on Mondays and am not home) and this is what I accomplished:

-Contacted broker about home and car insurance - sticking with my Safeco!
-Got the write-up for expenses for the purchase of our new home and am so glad for God's faithfulness in the details of the finances. Yay! for money in hand to pay for all the costs to seal the deal!!!!
-We got our inspection report back and everything looked great. Our buyer had a few cosmetic things which we are considering and my dad is coming this weekend to do one.
-Sent in final paperwork to lender and have applied for loan
-Dad got us a great deal on a moving truck (since he works at Penske) and have set the date for that.

So I am just a few signatures and an inspector call (for our new home) away from being done with all the details for our buying and selling and then I just worry about packing...

We will be closing on April 15th but moving in to our new home a bit early so our moving day will technically be April 9th. If you are in the area and willing to work for some sub sandwiches and chips go ahead and put the date on your calendar!!!!!!!!! More details to come...
