House Update #2

3 weeks ago today, we put our house on the market. Since then we have had 18 showings of our home. Tomorrow we have #19.

The exciting thing is that as of 12 o'clock this afternoon, we are under contract! We received an offer yesterday, countered, and waiting. This morning our realtor told us they had agreed, signed the papers and we just needed to sign and then we'd move forward.

WE ARE UNDER CONTRACT!!! I'm SO excited. Yesterday was such a whirlwind and so busy that I didn't have time to process it. Now that the papers are signed, it has sunk in. If all goes as planned, we will be moving into our new home in April.

Please continue to pray as we wade through the appraisal, FHA inspection and other hiccups that come up. Our realtor tells us that we don't really celebrate until all that is taken care of, which should be finalized in the next 2-3 weeks. Thank you for praying with us and rejoicing with us. We do have a house lined up to buy. It is owned by some great friends and they have been renting it out but are looking to sell it. The Lord has indeed lined up the details so we just wait to see how we can take steps to see it come about.
