Many of you have been asking about our house selling process so I wanted to give an update. Our first week with our house on the market, we had 10 showings. Last week was a bit quiet but the weekend brought in 3 showings. We had another showing today but this one and another one this past weekend were very last minute. I have enjoyed the 24 hour notice or at least the night before notice. Sunday at 8:45am I got a call that someone wanted to see our home at 9:30...getting dressed for church, cleaning the house and out the door with 3 kids while my husband was already at work within 45 minutes was chaos. Today we had a similar thing occur but we only had 30 minutes notice. I have been so impressed with my kiddos' resilience in the midst of fun plans being reversed to clean instead. They have been champs! So we have had a total of 14 showings in two weeks and haven't gotten much feedback or in the way of offers. So we are still waiting. We know that the Lord wanted us to put our house on the market so we took that step of obedience. Now we wait for His timing for the perfect family to buy our home. I wanted to update those of you who have been wondering and I labeled in #1 because I know that this can be a long process so I'm assuming more updates will be coming :-) Thanks for your prayers and encouragement!
On a side note, our realtor asked us to install a railing to our downstairs because it would be necessary for anyone buying our home that needed an FHA loan. So my talented dad came down a few weeks ago and installed this. It looks so great and is SO much better than that horrible gray bar that really didn't help anyone get down these steps.
