Fall Happenings

We are basically in the waiting phase for baby so it doesn't really feel like many exciting things are happening but here are a few pictures of fun things that have been going on around the house as we wait to add to our number:

Halloween - Maddy and Emma were little fairies and I was a jack-o-lantern, well I guess the baby belly was the jack-o-lantern. Last year we tried giving out candy but no one came around so this year we decided to go around our neighborhood. I think the girls got 4 pieces of candy each but it was a good attempt and we met some new neighbors. We were also battling with lice so it was good we didn't go out and about.
We carved our pumpkin and put it out on our porch. Emma is obsessed with saying "Pumpkin" all the time so she loved the idea but I think Maddy was the queen of getting her hands dirty.
The new double stroller some of my friends got me. We are all so in love with it!

We are now 34 weeks so only have 3-6 weeks left before baby arrives. We are getting very excited!
Time at the park. Emma loves doing everything her sister does so she doesn't want to do the "baby" stuff but rather prefers the "big girl" activities!
This picture sort of freaks me out cause I feel like Maddy is SO BIG! She is my big helper and it makes me so proud and sad at the same time :-(

This is the week before the play, "Oliver", that I am the musical director for. Next week the play will be performed and then Thanksgiving will get here. I will celebrate being thankful to be 37 weeks. I remember 4 years ago I was grateful to be hitting 2nd trimester on Thanksgiving day. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our little man and I am just hoping to make it till Thanksgiving. I am doing well. I feel large and uncomfortable often but I definitely hit my 2nd wind a few weeks back so it isn't too bad. My bag and his are packed, we have toured the hospital, the car seat is purchased and we have two baby showers coming up in the next few weeks. I have had many projects for Christmas and am now finally winding down and enjoying the thought of our little guy coming. Nesting is definitely setting in!
