This year we were so glad to spend Christmas in the states with our family. We did Thanksgiving/Early Christmas with my family and then did actual Christmas with Nate's family. The girls got TONS of goodies, so much that we ended up getting rid of half their previous toys just to make room for the current stuff. It was so sweet to be back with family to celebrate the holidays. We made sticky buns. We opened presents. We had turkey and ham. It ended with Nathan and Jesse leaving to drive to California and I headed to my parents' house. Nathan and Jesse got to see Jon and Heather in Texas, and meet the newest Forrest baby. I got to catch up with a college friend and spend lots of time with my folks. We took the girls to Chuckee Cheese, looked at a few Christmas lights, spent time with Grandma, since she was off work, and relaxed with the help of extra hands.
I hope you had a great holiday and enjoyed being with those you love and had many opportunities to show Christ to those you came in contact with!
