I'm horrible at updating this so I thought I'd take afew seconds to tell you all what's going on.
School has started back. Nathan is at work and I am full force into full time stay at home mom and Member Care Coordinator - hospitality for our team. Considering I will be out of commission a bit after the new year I decided to plan our kick off event with about 140 people so that has kept me pretty busy.
We are adjusting back into a routine. The kids have decided to start sleeping in till 8 which is good for a mommy who recently started having sleeping problems. It seem that a glass of warm milk with vanilla helps so I try to do that now that I've dropped my afternoon nap. I have learned to be creative and give things to the kiddos for breakfast that they can give themselves so I can be sure to get more sleep and get my exercise in as well.
We have passed the 4 month point and should have an appointment on Sept. 5th (that's all i know for now) to find out the gender of the baby via 3D ultrasound at the hospital we will deliver at. We are looking for a family to take Jachin in October to help with the transition of getting ready for baby #2 and me being tired. I'm not really tired these days. 2nd trimester has been good to me so far but since the doctors are not really sure why Madeline came early they want to take every precaution necessary to at least get this one to 37 weeks, if this is a trend.
The kids are doing well. Madeline loves Jachin. Today I walked into the living room to Madeline tickling her face on his hair and giggling like crazy. She will surely miss him. She has discovered her ears, how to climb, how to get me to turn on her toys, and how to demand special one on one time with Daddy everytime he comes home :-) Jachin is eating a lot, which we are grateful for. He has gained about .8 kg since the middle of June and we hope it continues.
That's about it. We are surviving and enjoying the calm right now before another baby comes along.
