Birthing Class

We returned this morning from Beijing. Yesterday we had a birthing class that lasted ALL DAY. It was great to gather all the information but it was also a LOT of info. It gave me a lot of information to think about and I will continue the process. We took a train straight from school, arrived early enough at the train station to get a seat in the waiting room (Amazing!), made it to the hotel and went straight to bed. On Saturday morning we got a taxi quickly, had breakfast at Peter's (blueberry muffins, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns), went to have the class in a Yurt...so cool to have a birthing class in an actual hut!...finished late (7:30pm), had Peter's for dinner with two couples we met from the class, headed to the train station, got there on perfect time to board the train right away, got a soft sleeper train (which means there are 4 beds in each room and they are larger than the hard sleeper) in a room with us as the only 2 inhabitants in a little room, and then when we arrived at Shenyang at 7:30am we were able to get breakfast and find a taxi that actually didn't fight or try to bargain with us for a price. All in all it was a beautiful weekend! I also realized that the next time I get off a train from Beijing I will have my little girl with me. YAY! Here is to a restful Sunday. Spring Break is only one week away.
