Hope

So today we went to the hospital and the doctor and nurse said that mom started opening her eyes today. We went to see her and as we talked and sang to her she did open her eyes and try to focus on you. We don't really know what this means but it is good news, much better than yesterday. We are hoping that she will continue to progress but we shall see. If anything, it is nice to know that when we speak to her she is hearing us because she can see us. I sang the doxology to her, per request of mom's pastor's wife, and when she tried to focus on me I told her to relax and close her eyes since she was working so hard to focus and she did. Good signs... YAY! We are still hoping...
