Home

We arrived back in Shenyang last night. After eating some amazing food, thanks to the Morrows, and watching a little of "New In Town" we headed off to bed. This morning we unpacked and now we are settled. It feels nice to be back in Shenyang and it is snowing....YAY! It is so pretty. Since I wrote last time our life has gone through quite a shift. On December 22nd, 2009 mom went to go be with Jesus. She is now home. We are now at this torn place of grieving because life without her seems to bizarre and impossible, and excitement because we have the hope that we will see her again one day. Please keep us in your thoughts as we are adjusting to life. Some days are easier than others. We go through days of feeling well adjusted and days of feeling like we must be in some horrible nightmare.

Here is the snow in Shenyang:

Baby- So we are officially 4 months pregnant and I am definitely growing.  When we went back to America for Christmas the family kept laughing saying it looked like I grew at least an inch or so just while I was there.  LOL.  I definitely enjoyed being pregnant with western food.  It was glorious, as my husband would say.  So here is a picture as of officially 4 months, beginning month 5.  In about 2 weeks we will get to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl and get to do a 3 or 4D ultrasound, and yes they can do those in China.  Will keep you posted.

Also, my friend Diana, who lives upstairs, just had her baby.  They have a cute little boy named Enoch. However, before he was born we took a picture of the two of us together.  One is just a typical pose but the other is one of us holding up, on our fingers, how far along we are.  I am holding up a 3 and Diana is holding her fingers in the Chinese sign for the number 8.  We hope to take one when I am 8 months and she is with baby to show the contrast.  :-)
