Survival

So it has been awhile since I have posted but I did want you to know that I am still alive and surviving. Some days are better than others. Emma is now 7 1/2 weeks old. Naps are going ok, depending on the day, and nighttime sleep is going great, with a 6 hour stretch. I admit that some days I am near to going insane when she won't sleep but cries when she stays awake. I have gotten to the point these days where I don't expect a nap anymore cause I probably won't get it. She is learning to put herself to sleep when she wakes up in the middle of the night but it is a definite slow process. Most of the time I feel like I am just trying to survive. Nathan has started staying up with Emma for her 11 pm feeding two days a week so I can get more sleep.

Today is a good day! The kids both napped and Maddy is still asleep and Emma is eating. It has proven to be a good, restful Sunday. Maddy is growing so fast. She is a verbal machine! It is getting warmer here and we are looking forward to spring very desperately. Maddy has gotten to go out in the snow a bit and is now ok with it. Well that's all I have for now and a few pics to show how Emma is growing.
