Miss Independent 18 month old

So this is a little late but here is a post to brag about the growth of my little 18 month old. She seems like a totally different person. I can't believe she is 1 1/2 years old. I especially love these pics cause she almost looks like she is saying, "Mom! Really?!? Another pic with a sign! So lame!" hehe. Here's how she's doing...

Since her 1st birthday we have had lots of first -

Maddy is now walking very well and running.
-She is jealous of Mommy and Daddy snuggles so refuses to let us cuddle up together when she can't be in the mix.
-Talks ALOT! Her new words have been: Shoes, Odie (Doggy), Munny (Bunny), Xie Xie (Chinese for Thank You), There, Milk, boo boo, uh oh, amen, Maddy, Mommy, Daddy, Hi, Done, Baby, Hot
-She blows kisses and waves all the time and at anyone.
-She even gives you kisses on your lips and cheeks.
-Climbs in a chair and uses a spoon - though it is messy.
-Gives herself praise when she accomplishes something.
-Gives hugs
-Loves babies
-Loves to help Mommy in the kitchen
-Interested in bathroom habits of others - if she's not trying to go in with you she's knocking on the door for you to come out.
-Loves to organize things and gets frustrated when she can't accomplish a task or when you move something from where it belongs (She is her mother's child)
-Helps clean up
-Gets her shoes when you say, "Get shoes"
-Touches my belly when she says "baby"
-Sometimes at night we hear her saying all the words she knows before she goes to bed like she's practicing for a test or something.
-Thinks everything is hot even when it is cold. When my oven buzzer goes off she yells, "Hot!"
-Likes climbing stairs
-Can communicate when she wants to be held.
-Gets her own diaper and wipes when you ask her to
-Touches her diaper when you ask if she needs a new one
-Knocks on the door
-Squeals when she hears a dog and yells "odie" while chasing a cat or dog.
-When she wants up somewhere she reaches out to take your hand.
-She knows her routine. When I say "room time" she goes to her room. When we say "let's go to bed" she goes to the bedroom then to the bathroom to brush her teeth.
-She loves playing hard to get!!!
-She is very gentle with babies.
-She enjoys going to meet Daddy at the gate or watching for him out the window.
-Has found this great spot in front of our mirror where she sits and talks to herself.
-Giggles when she drops the whisk on the floor and hears it make a cool noise.
-Hates to wear socks unless it means shoes come next.
-She LOVES people!

That's a lot but she really has grown so much. She has new words everyday and being with her is just too fun. We absolutely love our little girl and are excited about having another one in 5-10 weeks!
