Recents

Maddy standing using JB's toy attached to his high chair. We got to go eat a meal with the Ernos, the couple who has JB full time. It was nice to have the kids play together.
On our walk to the Ernos. We borrowed a stroller from a friend since our little ones can't walk quite yet.
Maddy crawls around my house looking for food. I promise I feed her lots but it never fails that she will find the food Jachin dropped before I have a chance to sweep it up.

Not much exciting is going on these days. Currently Nate is in Inner Mongolia for Spring Trip and will be back on Friday. This means that I am at home alone with two children. The days are a little tricky but I am thankful to say that great friends have kept me company these past two nights and have helped me with the hardest time, meals. They seem to be so stressful for me. I am worried that Madeline isn't drinking enough milk when she maybe only drinks one 7 oz. cup of milk a day and only one nursing. I hold my breath at every meal hoping that Jachin will eat his food and drink that full cup of milk. It isn't anyones fault and it is definitely not intentional but these days I find that I am so stressed about the food intake of my children. I don't know what to do with a one year old who just doesn't want to drink her milk. I don't want to force her but she's not nursing and needs to get the milk somehow. So I put it in rice cereal. I give her milk with a dropper or through a straw. I try so many things and look forward to bed time so I can sit down and breath. Small battles are no fun!
